Emily joined the Multiple Sclerosis Care Center in April 2018 when we opened our center at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. She started at the front desk as a Health Unit Coordinator checking in/out patients for appointments and then transitioned to a Sr. Authorization Specialist working on the oral and injectable medication authorizations. Now Emily helps manage the front desk, medical assistants and authorization staff. Emily truly enjoys caring for our MS patients and is dedicated to making sure each patient has a good experience when visiting our center. Previously, she worked at Magee-Womens Cancer Center for two years as a Health Unit Coordinator and Financial Consular. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and currently lives in Jefferson Hills with her husband, twin daughters, and cat.
